BSC Awarded NRDC Food Matters Grant
Birdseed Collective was one of ten recipients recently awarded a generous $10,000 Food Matters grant by the NRDC. With support from The Rockefeller Foundation and partnership with the City and County of Denver, Food Matters funding aims to reduce the number of food insecure housing and reduce the amount of food waste in the city. Birdseed Collective will use the award funds this year to cover essential operational expenses for the Food Program at Globeville Center.
