New Tom Bond mural at Westend

Artist Tom Bond recently wrapped up a mural project for Woody Creek Distillers and West End Tap House on the back wall in West End's backyard patio area. Clean, contemporary aesthetics marked by dynamic geometry, a limited color palette, and efficient design details all come together to tell the visual story of how whiskey is made. Aside from painting murals, though,Tom is a mixed media artist, graphic designer, wood craftsman, and avid traveler. He also owns and operates an artist studio space in south Denver called Camp Kalamath. Tom Bond curated the "Lightning Blend" group show at Alto Gallery last summer; this year, though, he has a solo exhibition at the gallery opening August 26.

Photos were taken in the backyard patio of West End Tap House on Tennyson St in Denver's Berkley neighborhood.
