Globeville Center Reopening Celebration

Thanks to everyone that joined Birdseed Collective for the grand reopening celebration of the Globeville Center on Saturday September 11. After being closed to the public for more than a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Birdseed was cleared by Denver Parks & Recreation to resume regular programming to the Globeville community. To celebrate, visitors were treated to a free event of live music by the Original iLLs, Aztec dance performance by Grupo Tlaloc, food by Carnitas Don Juan and Chupacabra Ice Cream, and art kit giveaways. In addition, the Denver Public Library's Bookmobile was on deck, along with various offerings and information from local vendors and organizations. New murals from local and national artists covered the walls of the Globeville Center, providing a beautiful, vibrant, and inspiring backdrop to this special community gathering. Look forward to more events and regular programming and hours from Birdseed Collective and community partners at the Globeville Center this year.
